If you are new to this show, hello and welcome! This is a show where we

talk about goals, and courage, and going after what you really want in life.

I drop a new episode every Monday to get your week started off right.

A few weeks ago, I released my annual holiday gift guide.

I call it my Fierce * Feminist * Badass * LadyBoss Holiday Gift Guide.

Lots of people loved it. However, one woman did not.

I got an email from a woman who criticized me for being “too political.” She did not enjoy the Trump is a Jackass holiday card, for example. (Personally, I find it very festive! LOL.) She did not like the fact that I mentioned activism groups like Black Lives Matter. She urged me to keep my writing more “neutral” in the future.

In 2018?!

I don’t think so, honey.

I have no interest in being neutral.

None of my heroes are neutral, either.

Rosa Parks was anything but “neutral” when she defiantly refused to sit at the back of the bus.

Amelia Earhart was anything but “neutral” when she became the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic, forever changing the world’s perspective on the kinds of careers that women can pursue.

Mary Wollstonecraft was anything but “neutral” when released A Vindication of the Rights of Woman in 1792, where she argues that women are not merely decorative ornaments or property, but rather, human beings who deserve the same fundamental rights as men. Like, the right to get an education. (This was a shocking, revolutionary idea at the time.)

Those heroic women were not neutral about their beliefs.

I don’t want to be neutral, either.

So please, know this:

I want to live in a world with more female leaders and entrepreneurs.

I want to live in a world where women feel confident in their skin, love their bodies, and do not feel ashamed about their curves or stretch marks.

I want to live in a world with more female millionaires and billionaires—and where US currency has a woman’s face on it.

I want to live in a world where women don’t have to feel afraid when a manager says, “Meet me inside my office” and then closes the door.

I want to live in a world where women are paid fairly, respected deeply, and where we have the final word on what happens to our bodies.

And I want Trump to be impeached.

I will keep writing, speaking up, coaching, working, and fighting to create that world.

If that offends you, the unsubscribe button is right down below. Help yourself to a nice, long click. Bye!

But if you’re nodding your head with me, awesome. Let’s keep being bold and decisive. Never neutral. Anything but neutral. It goes without saying…

Neutral women do not change the tide of history.
