Let’s see if it’s “meant to be…”

sunday-e1436303824260

Here are my two biggest pet peeves:

1. Loud eaters (the sound of high-volume popcorn chomping… I can’t even.)

2. The following phrase: “I’m just going to wait and see if it’s meant to be.”

{deep sigh}

What grinds my gears is that “Let’s see if it’s meant to be” is usually code for “I want all kinds of rewards, but only if I don’t have to take a creative / emotional / financial risk of any kind.”

Nope. That’s not how it works.onerepublic_SH_quotes_WEB

I’m a fan of “spiritual grease.” The big U has your back. But you must pair it with “elbow grease” and a healthy dash of “courage” in order to take your life in the direction you want it to go.

Hillary Clinton is not sitting around wishing and hoping that becoming the first female President is
“meant to be.” She’s touring the country, meeting with voters, appearing on top-rated podcasts and late-night TV shows, securing endorsements from people like Oprah and Obama, and clapping back at Trump on Twitter in the sassiest of ways. There’s no “wait and see” for this woman. Her mantra is: “make it so.”

Despite her best efforts, it is possible that she still won’t win. But at least Hillary will know that she poured absolutely everything into her campaign. And regardless of whether she wins or not, history is being made.

What’s your personal version of “being elected President”? New job? A major physical transformation? Doubling your income? Getting that business up and rolling? Are you giving that goal your best effort—or just a half effort?

Fortune favors the brave. If you want, go get it. Get off the fence.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to spur you into taking a risk, this is it.

Instead of waiting to see if it’s “meant to be,” take action like you mean it.

P.S.

P.S. If this little sermon inspired you to make some big (or little) changes in your life, then I want to make sure you know about THIS.

It’s my BARE method coach certification program, where I personally train and certify you to become a BARE coach.

As a BARE coach, you’ll work with women who want to stop overeating, stop crash-dieting, stop purging, stop body-shaming, and #stopthemadness. Your clients will experience significant physical—but more importantly—emotional transformations that upgrade their career, income, relationships: every aspect of life. It’s all about courage, freedom, and female empowerment. This work changes lives.

Want to become a BARE coach? Review all the details and register here.

The next training program happens in September 2016. You can begin working with paying clients as early as November/December, just as soon as you complete your (fun, meaningful) coursework plus 20 hours of practice coaching to build confidence and hone your skills.

Questions? Contact support@shyatt.com to ask anything on your mind.

XOXO,
Susan
